How does VITAband work?
The VITAband combines prepaid contactless payment technology with an online health record that we call your Emergency Response Profile (ERP). First responders are trained to look for identifying information, will use the VITAnumber to identify you. Using the VITAnumber on your bracelet or other licensed VITAform, a first responder can access your ERP in two easy and quick ways—via a simple call to the VITAband Telephone Access Center or by logging on to http://www.vitaband.net. Using either the web or the phone, a first responder will use your VITAnumber to access your Emergency Response Profile, which will insure that you get the care you deserve.
