yes, and even one type of seal, the Northern Fur Seal, makes an annual migration of 6000 miles (about two and a half the distance of the continental US). The thing is, they usually don’t swim the entire distance constantly. They can rest part way through their journey by floating on their back. Another thing about migrations is that they have to be careful because they make great meals for Killer whale pods which can frequent shore lines up and down the west coast from mexico up to alaska.
