How good is my notebook? Will I need an upgrade soon?
Actually, your computer is still considered new technology. Your laptop should be good to play the latest games for the next couple of years. Technology has kind of hit a brick wall when it comes to how far you can upgrade and if it is actually needed. Computer technology companies are really trying to come out with the bigger and better thing like the 64bit OS or multiple core processing. The reason that they are trying to market this stuff is because it needs to be marketed. There really isn’t any use for more then 2 cores on a processor because your applications will not utilize the extra cores. Most applications are not written to be 64bit compatible either. 64bit OS is still trying to gain its way into the mainstream but is having a hard time doing so too. You really won’t need to upgrade your computer for 2-3 years and possibly more, depending on how soon new technology hits mainstream and more and more people are getting terabytes of space on their hard drives to support new and
