How good is Of Mice and Men REALLY??
if you use an accent in your head for George as a sort of cool american cowbow (say steve mcqueen) and Lennie as a retarded accent like mongo from blazing saddles but with a deeper voice you should understand it and get into it, its actually a really heart breaking story, if you can ask someone to read it to you then prehaps you may get into it, everyone in my class didn’t like it (even me) but since we were thick we had our teacher read some chapters and we ended up reading it at home as we were so interested.
