How hard was it to come back after missing 23 games?
It was definitely tough watching the team. They would go out to practice every day and I would sit there and do rehab or bike. But it really wasn’t too bad coming back after because of all that rehab and biking. I felt like I got right back into it pretty quick. Were you injured before to any extent like that? I tore ligaments in my ankle a couple of summers again, so I was out a month and a half, but nothing that extensive before. What was the hardest part in getting back into game shape? The conditioning and being able to keep up for a long period of time. Getting the lungs back into it. Was it surprising how quickly your body loses that? Yeah, you could see that my leg was a lot smaller than the other one. But now it’s back to normal. Also in the health area, you have Type I Diabetes. When were you diagnosed with it? In kindergarten, so I was five years-old. I don’t remember any point not being diabetic. How do you deal with it while playing hockey? Anything in particular you have t
