How important are physical attraction and someones past in a relationship?
Her appearance shouldn’t really have anything to do with it. But if you truly aren’t happy then you really should leave. There is no point in being with someone who makes you unhappy, regardless of how shallow it makes you feel. You shouldn’t feel obligated to stay with someone. You should want to be with them, if you truly care about them. But it seems like you left without really working things out with her, and telling her how you feel. If her past bothered you, you should of talked about it with her. Disregard what your grandma says. If you want to be with someone, you should be with her, regardless if she is pretty or not.
