The main problem with sunlight is that it heats. Washing your car in direct sunlight heats metal and dries the water off. When the water dries off, you can easily scratch the clear coat. Applying Glare Infinity Plus in direct sunlight also dries the product faster and is not recommended. Note that all paint protection systems are the same in this regard.
