How is a Dual Honours degree different from a Single Honours degree?

0

Unlike our BA or BSc single honours Geography degrees, where your study is focussed largely towards Human or Physical Geography (but see the next Q&A), our dual honours degrees enable you to formally combine Geography with another academic subject. For example, Geography can be combined with Economics, Politics, Sociology, Maths, Archaeology or Planning. These degrees combine the core components from each of these subjects, but note that students taking BA dual honours courses are normally restricted to taking Human Geography modules, and those taking BSc dual honours courses are normally restricted to taking Physical Geography modules. See our Degree courses page for further details.
