How is a players initial position eligibility determined?
A player must have played at least 10 games at a specific position in the previous season to be eligible at that position this year. Pitchers must have had at least 3 starts last year to be eligible as a starter this year and at least 5 relief appearances last year to be eligible as a reliever this year. Sporting News Fantasy Division will determine the position eligibility of any player that does not meet the minimum requirements listed above.
