The tracking label must be permanently attached to the item and must remain legible for the life of the product. The tracking labels for apparel could be part of the care label since the care label has the same requirement for being permanently attached and legible for the life of the garment. Information solely on a hangtag, adhesive label or packaging would not be sufficient.
