How is CMS structured?
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools encompasses all of the public K-12 schools in the county, grades K-12, as well as certain programs for older and younger individuals. Our public schools educate a diverse population of more than 138,000 students each year, in approximately 178 schools located throughout the county.
