How is conformity with the operating principles determined?
To determine conformity with the operating principles, an institution must demonstrate adequate follow-up to concerns/improvement plans directly related to the operating principles that were identified by the institution or the committee during the institution’s first- and second-cycle self-studies. The committee has developed measurable standards documents for each operating principle to clarify expectations and to bring more consistency to the athletics certification process for institutions, peer-review teams and the committee.
