How is it possible to receive articles electronically?

0

Many libraries, including Mason Library, can send and receive copies of articles electronically. The articles are photocopied from journals, and then scanned rather than sent through the mail. This means that they can be delivered much more quickly than paper copies. When we receive articles electronically, we can send them through a service called ClioEDelivery or print and mail them to you. Using ClioEDelivery, we send you an e-mail message containing a link to the ILL Web Page. Log in with your last name and barcode number. Click on “See your ILL items and view articles online,” to retrieve your article and read it online or print it. Your article will remain available for 2 weeks after notification. To receive articles through ClioEDelivery, you must have Adobe Acrobat, which you can download for free.
