How is it related to the documentary television series, Diamond Road?
DRO is brought to you by the same production company, Kensington Communications, that produced the television series – but it’s an expanded, personalized, and ongoing version of the television series. Right now the majority of the content you’ll see on Diamond Road Online comes from us and more than two-thirds of the content is exclusive to the website. That’s because the television series consists of 3 episodes, each of them 1 hour in length. We filmed on 4 continents and shot over 200 hours worth of footage, so most of what you see here is web-exclusive. Not to mention that DRO is an ongoing documentary project: the stories and points of view will continue to grow as you and other DRO members submit content from around the world. We’ll also continue to search out and add compelling content about diamonds.
