How is Layered Jewellery Made?

0

Allure Gold 18 Carat Gold Layered jewellery is made by fusing multiple layers of 18 Carat Gold to Jewellers Brass, using equipment that carefully controls pressure, heat and time. The bonding produced is a permanent one. Our Rose Gold Layered Jewellery has a slightly different process to our Yellow Gold. Rose Gold is made up of Yellow Gold and Copper (hence the colour), therefore is more susceptible to tarnishing because of the Copper content. Allure Gold now layers all rose gold with multiple layers of rose and yellow gold to stop the jewellery from tarnishing so quickly.. Our Rhodium range is similar to our 18 Carat Gold Layered jewellery, the only difference is that we layer the Rhodium items once to the maximum level of coverage.
