In addition to your medical history, MEDeCARD can store details of emergency contacts, next of kin, insurance and passport numbers, eye and dental prescriptions, and details of current medications. You can even use the MEDeCARD Service to send reminder e-mails of appointments. To view and update your medical records, simply log-in via the Internet or print a detailed report that can be presented during health consultations. In addition, a copy of your records are stored on a password-protected credit card-sized CD, which can be carried with you on your travels.
