How is Reading Counts assessed?

0

Reading Counts grades are assessed every grading period and are generated two ways. First, I take your child’s best quiz grade for the grading period. For example, if your child’s quiz grades were a 90%, 100%, 50%, 80%. Your child’s score would be 100% for that grading period. The other grade is taken from point accumulation. Your child needs to get 18 points a grading period for Reading Counts. The grading scale is as follows: 18 points=100%, 17-15 points=90%, 14-11 points=80%, 10-7 points=70%, 6-1 points=60%, 0 points=0%.
