How is tax data entered into TaxTools?
Tax return data is periodically imported into TaxTools using generalized import procedures. However, a preconversion program is often necessary to read tax data from other jurisdictions such as your State. For example, a user may include state sales tax return data and B & O tax return data from its own internal systems. Sometimes, a report writer can be used to create the necessary interface files. Microflex has preconversion programs for selected state tax file formats and for several accounting software vendors which provide business B&O systems. Alternatively, Microflex will provide the necessary interface software for an additional fee if the specifications of the source data are provided.
