How is the application evaluated?
The application will be evaluated by an expert review panel as a blind review. Once the application is submitted it will be sent out to three or five reviewers and upon completion of the review will be returned to the applicant with feedback from the reviewers on every question, plus a summary paragraph from each reviewer. The initial review process can take up to 120 days. If the reviewers seek further texture or information to explain the application’s supporting documentation an additional six months is given to respond. The response document is then sent through a final review.
