How is the movie V for Vendetta related to federalism and civil liberities?
Civil liberties were oppressed and that’s what the fight was about. Only view that could be spoken, heard, or lived had to agree with the political government authority. Hence no one had any civil liberties because no one was allowed to question anything but simply had to keep quiet and accept it as is. The Federalism part is it was a government completely controlled through 1 political party and no other was allowed to participate hence allowing them to dictate what people could or could not do, say, own, or even think. That is what happens when you give 1 political group especially one religiously motivated or using religion as its basis complete control. You get a state where there is complete government control and involvement in everything and only 1 defined way of thinking and acting is accepted.
