How is the partnership graph related to the playing field?
Not at all, except initially. At first, partners are placed relatively close to each other. As play proceeds, they may spread out arbitrarily far. After a short time, there may be no apparent connection between “distance” in the partnership graph (number of edges in a path) and distance on the playing field. • Why so many masters? Why not use just one master with lots of drones? Each scheme has its advantages and disadvantages. One advantage of the required multiple-masters approach is that if one master “fails,” e.g., falls into a pit, dies, gets eaten, runs out of battery power, etc.; the hunt can still continue. (Although master failure is unlikely in our simulation, it would always be a potential problem in more realistic simulations. ) • When a player moves, does it “jump” or “walk”? I.e., do we have to consider all the locations along some path in the field joining the current location to the next location? Or can we just move it to the target location without regard to any parti
