How is the PSDN SDK licensed?
The software and education entitlements provided in the PSDN SDK are made available as a one (1) year subscription. Subscribers must renew at the end of the term of their subscription in order to continue to use the software. The licenses in the PSDN SDK will time-out, but there is a 30 day grace period between the subscription expiration and the time-out date. Most software is delivered on a named-user basis. Exceptions to this are the client and server products[4]. For example, Workgroup and Enterprise database licenses include more than the typical number of connections (50 and 300 respectively) so that stress testing can be done. PSDN Premier includes 5 licenses to the PSDN SDK. PSDN Professional includes 1 license to the PSDN SDK.
