The Oregon Scientific WMR-968 base station is connected via a 9-pin serial cable to a dedicated PC running Ambient Virtual Weather Station V13.01 Internet Edition. Utilizing custom templates, the sensor data is compiled into HTML documents that are automatically uploaded to our web server every 15 minutes. Data is also submitted every 5 minutes to other weather related sites like Weather Underground, Hamweather and several others. In addition, data from other METAR & Mesonet sites is downloaded for inclusion on our site.
