How is the signature on the form incorporated with the e-file?
Form 8453 is the signature form and after the appropriate signature is on the form, the form must be scanned and converted to .pdf format. and saved within VantageTax as an external document (using the External Document Manager). VantageTax will automatically save the scanned signature to the signature line on the return.
