How long before construction commences?
Construction will not commence for some time. CopperString is contacting each of the landholders along the easement to discuss access to properties to conduct environmental and geotechnical studies and to identify whether there are any plans for future development on the site. After all the field studies have been completed, an Environmental Management Plan will be prepared and applications made to the appropriate environmental and development authorities. Easements or easement agreements have to be in place prior to construction commencing. The approval and easement access (or acquisition process) could take anything between six months and 18 months depending upon the results of the field studies and the requirements of the State government and landowners.
