How long do mobile homes last in Alaska?
I live in a mobile, albeit approx 5000 miles So. East of Nome, and have been to Alaska, and noted many mobiles, as well as parks. What I have no clue about is who manufactures for Alaska, and if any additional considerations are in effect, for AC/Heat, electrical amperage, and connections, Plumbing, especially, and how a mobile might be enclosed around the usual 18 inches or so, Underneath. I’d like to think those issues are taken into account, more so than they would be in So. Central FL. On a personal note, I wouldn’t live in Alaska on a permanent basis. Certainly a Single, especially if new or recently manufactured, can be as wide as 16 ft. and as long or short as 1, 2, 3, bedrooms and single or multiple baths allow. A Double can be anywhere from 24 wide to 32 wide, commonly, and again, long or short depends on bedrooms and baths more than sizes of living rooms and kitchens.
