Its all depends on the equipments and all other accessories that you run on bateeries.Type of battery is also very importnat to answer this question.there are may important factors for increase battery life like Make sure all lights, clocks and other items are turned off in your RV when not in use. we find some items like the LP gas detector, the refrigerator, and the radio are often overlooked.More

Yes, Rightly said more number of equipment that run on batteries the more battery required. So its very important that use carefully and use only necessory equipments if you are going for very long distance. You can save more power by using batteries wisely.

Most motorhomes run on a dual battery system. This means there is a battery separate to the engine battery and that you do not need a 240 volt power source to run appliances while the engine is switched off. It is impossible to run the engine battery flat. This allows for great freedom and independence. However, most microwaves and power plugs in motorhomes will not operate unless they have a 240V source.
