How long does EMDR take?
In our Clinic, each session is 60 minutes. The duration of treatment will be determined by you and your therapist. Needs for, and means of, continuation beyond 6 months of service will be discussed between you and your therapist prior to the close of this period. Some traumatic experiences can be resolved in as few as 6 sessions. However, the type of problem, your general life circumstances, and amount of previous trauma often result in a lengthier treatment.
