How long does it take synthroid to work?
The Synthroid should work within 1-2 weeks. I currently take this medication myself. If you have further questions, it’s best to ask your doctor or pharmacist to get the most accurate information. If you feel it isn’t working after a couple of weeks, I would call my doctor. Thyroid production levels can change at any time. And it’s really helpful if you ask your doctor to explain the numbers and how the medication works. You’ll be glad you did.
