Certification designations vary depending on the specific course taken. For example, St. John Ambulance First Aid/CPR certifications are valid for 3 years from the time of completion before re-certification is required; whereas Service Best certification does not require recertification.

Certification is valid for a three-year period. The requirements for renewal will be sent to you with your certificate. It is your professional responsibility to maintain your certification and to keep abreast of changes in recertification requirements.

Certification for both course providers and instructor applicants is valid for a two year period at the end of which a new application must be submitted to the Committee office. There is no renewal process in effect for these certifications.
