• A: In the clinical trial that demonstrated the benefits of Herceptin, metastatic breast cancer patients continued to receive Herceptin even if their chemotherapy was stopped (and until their cancer started to grow again.) Talk to your doctor about how long you should stay on Herceptin therapy.
