How long will support be available for DS2.2 (US), 3.0 and 3.1 if I don upgrade to 4.0?
As of July 31, 2004, DocuShare 2.2 and earlier versions were End of Life’d (EOL’d). This means that if you are a 2.2 customer, your content is at risk. Should a DS2.x system go down, you would face the expensive and time-consuming task of restoring the old version of DocuShare, and the content of the site, WITHOUT assistance from the DocuShare support team. Upgrading to DocuShare 4.0 protects your valuable investment for the future. DS 3.0 will be EOL’d in your locale when DS4 ships. You will continue to be eligible for support if you have a support contract, but you may be directed to upgrade your installation of DocuShare to 3.1 or 4.0 to address specific technical issues that have been resolved in these releases.
