How long would the non-profit have to be in business before being considered eligible?

There is no limit on the length of time that a non-profit must be in business before being considered eligible. The non-profit will, however, be required to submit a copy of its 501(C)(3) designation letter from the IRS and a copy of its Certificate of Existence from the Tennessee Secretary of State dated no more than 90 days prior to the date of application submission.
