How many candidates can a client expect to interview?
When we become engaged in a recruitment assignment significant resources are dedicated to the implementation of the project. In the course of the engagement, many individuals are contacted, either to refer us to appropriate contacts or regarding personal interest. As executives express interest, we conduct extensive telephone interviews to qualify them according to our client’s position requirements. For those individuals who appear on paper and telephone to be appropriate, we conduct personal interviews to further assess their background and leadership fit, as well as to determine their cultural fit. Part of our role as a retained executive search firm is to narrow our list of executives interested in the position to ideally the best three to present for initial interviews with our client organization. Depending on the uniqueness of the candidate requirements, the number initially presented can vary.
