How many colours in a rainbow, what are they and do they always come in the same order?
The seven colors in a rainbow are always in the following order, Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo Violet. ( VIBGYOR ) Its a strange fact that the white sunlight is not a single light it contains lights of 7 different wavelengths when it is broken up by water, prism or any diffracting medium it splits into its original components and we can then see them appearing in order.
