Destination Kohler is made up of four championship golf courses, all designed by the renowned Pete Dye and provide distinctly different pure golf experiences. Built on a tract of land sculpted by glacier run-off tens of thousands of years ago, Blackwolf Run offers two 18-hole courses that have been skillfully carved out of the natural environment and are designed for golfers who appreciate the game’s great traditions. Beginning with a 560-acre parcel of flat land, Dye created Whistling Straits. Open, rugged and windswept terrain defines the Straits Course situated along two miles of Lake Michigan shoreline. Just inland, interspersed by four meandering streams, the grassland-and-dunes aspect of the Irish Course is a deceivingly tranquil landscape.
