How many images are taken, and how many does the Bride and Groom get?
We typically shoot around 300-400 images (sometimes more) at a wedding. Since there is no film or proofing costs to us, we are free to take shots that film photographers would not take. These images include critical shots that we duplicate (we both shoot), and images that may have blinked eyes or awkward expressions. Over the years, we’ve found that the bride/groom usually are desiring the ‘choice’ photos…and have no interest in the duplicated or ‘awkward’ shots. We typically deliver about 250 -300 images on CD’s (or DVD’s). The electronic files are duplicated into 4 complete directories of the images made. The directories include: high-resolution color, high-resolution black/white, low-resolution color, and low-resolution black/white. Due to the large file sizes of the high-resolution images, it takes about 3 DVD’s or 12-15 CD’s to hold these files. Please let us know if your computer has a CD or DVD drive in it.
