Seventeen-year-old Brooklyn Lyle has a passion for animals. In fact, the Clarksville High School senior could vie for the title Doctor Doolittle. Her current menagerie of pets includes two horses, four pygmy goats, a fainting goat, a rooster, two dogs, a kitten, a boa, a lizard and five chickens. Brooklyn has named all of her creatures and said, “There is a reason for every single one of them.” That includes the biggest and laziest of her brood — Chassidy Sue E. Pig. Chassidy sleeps indoors. She’s a house pet and housebroken. Whenever she wants to relieve herself she will snort at the door to signal Brooklyn, her mom or stepdad to let her go outside to take care of business. “Pigs don’t stink, contrary to what everybody thinks. Pigs don’t have sweat glands, so there isn’t any odor. They’re cleaner than a dog or cat to have inside,” said Cathy Latham, Brooklyn’s mom.
