There is no limit to the number of packages. However, federal law limits the quantity of pseudoephedrine that may be dispensed by a pharmacist in a single transaction or a single day to 3600 mg. Iowa law limits the quantity of pseudoephedrine that may be dispensed within a 30-day period to 7500 mg.
