Class sizes vary depending on how many people apply, but trucking schools will maximize the size of the classes as much as possible. If you choose to go for your class A and find a company with a school, you will now be required to contract with that company for 6 months to 2 yrs depending on the company to pay back your tuition, if you quit before the contract time is up, you will have to pay the balance owed. Either way, the best cdl schools are community college trucking courses. These courses are usually a little longer than regular trucking schools and can find you financial assistance if needed. If you are looking for one on one instruction, most schools do not offer that though they will assist you if you are having problems. In any case, most schools only teach you how to pass the license tests and the very basics, your real training will be after you get to the company you plan to work for with a trainer and then on your own.
