How many times does tulip bloom in a season from a single bulb?

one tulip bulb ususally produces one plant this plant if it is a new bulb generally produces one flower however it can produce more than one flower and the more mature it gets can produce more flowers-basically year after year it produces more flowers but just from one plant. They only bloom once during the year then you let them die and sleep until next spring where they come out again. Their bloom period lasts a couple of weeks and if the weather is a little cooler they bloom a little longer. Bulbs are great in any garden they multiply with age and they are the first sign of spring with their great color and tulips come in such wonderful colors I hope you just continue to ad more to your garden.
