According to present estimates about 400 families (2,000 people) in seven villages will be displaced for the Steel Plant Area. The company has minimized displacement by changing steel plant layout about 60 times. Certain densely populated regions in Dhinkia, Gobindapur and Nuagaon have been excluded.
