The WoW forums have been talking about it for months. WoW.com has run dozens of articles preparing gamers for the latest patch to hit the World of Warcraft servers. Patch 3.2 brought with it a complete overhaul of the way players travel in the world. Remember the days when players needed to level to 40 before they could purchase their first mount? That requirement eventually dropped to 30. Now, players can purchase their land mounts at level 20. Now, gamers can expect to reach the frozen land of Northrend in practically no time at all. Players have come to expect that patch release days tend to be a waste. With extended maintenance periods and worse lag than usual in the floating city of Dalaran, some called it quits after a few attempts to log in. For the rest of us, we got to experience the Crusader’s Coliseum, the new 40 versus 40 battleground, and loads of new daily quests. The servers should be back up for everyone by now. Log back in. B
