The maximum total allowable reimbursement for Career Development is $2000 per eligible employee, per fiscal year (May 1 to April 30), toward the cost of tuition at a recognized (or accredited) technical institute or business college, or via correspondence; conference fees where the conference provides career development; or refund of actual expenses for course materials and textbooks. Please note that you must have signed approval from your Dean, Department Head or Department designate (not in scope of CUPE) , and then once you have successfully completed the course/seminar or attended a conference; submit your original receipt of payment, along with your proof of successful completion to Human Resources, Room E140, Administration Building, 105 Administration Place. No pre-approval from Human Resources is required.
