How much does an initial appointment cost?
For our Gastroenterology practice, the initial appointment is the cost of your co-pay and/or deductible and then it is submitted to the insurance company. The charges vary according to the time spent in the visit and the complexity of the case. In the Hormone practice the initial consult is $325. Using a credit card authorization you can have up to 30 days before your card is charged. This give you an opportunity to present your receipt for reimbursement.
