For this you really need to speak with the insurer, however generally speaking it will be more then your residential premium as business’s attract a higher rate of claimable events (ie theft, loss of income, fraud, etc) – my advice is pick the insurer who offers you the best coverage for what you want (eg: do I really need “employee theft coverage” if im a sole trader with no employees). As a general rule with Business Insurance, the more you want covered the more it will cost. As a side note if your looking at getting into a business, research the area your looking at moving in to – chances are the area’s crime rate, population density, traffic, etc will all effect your premium.
