How much light do solar screens block?
There are two types of solar screening fabrics, a 80% heat blockage, and a 90% heat blockage, the 90% is the more popular one. The 80% screening will on average block about 25% of the light coming into your window or door. The 90% screening will block about 50% of the light coming into your window or door. Solar Screens also act as privacy screens, during the day you will feel more secure in your home knowing that people outside can’t see strait into your home.
