How much money should adults pay children to babysit?
Children should not watch children. If you have someone watch your children they should be paid the going rate for the job. Having responsibility for a childs care and welfare is a bigger job than most children are able to do. There is more to child care or babysitting than most people are aware of. Anything can happen at any given time and a child (if chosen to do this job) should be able to make adult choices about any given situation that may occur. If you have a child babysit, this child should be paid the going rate that any adult would make.
