For what you’re doing you should only need the following: 1. 2 gal violet paint (just to be safe… see below) 2. I would suggest two coats, but only you wil be able to tell once the first coat dries. 3. 1 gal primer 4. If you’re only touching up the trim you shouldn’t need more than a quart. However, if the trim hasn’t been painted in a while or the paints are different brands, your colors may be different. If you think this is the case then I would get a gallon just to be safe. 5. Any latex based paint will clean up fast and easy with water. 6. I usually get the mid range brand from Lowe’s. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of it offhand. Here are a few other things to keep in mind. 1. You want to get semi gloss paint for the trim 2. If you want the walls to “wipe clean” then go with semi gloss as well. Flat paint doesn’t clean very well. 3. Get GOOD brushes!!! This is a must. I like Purdy brushes. I can’t tell you how important this is. However, with good quality comes a hefty
