How much power did Adolf Hitler really even have over descisions made, etc in Nazi Germany?
Hitler rose to power on the strength of his personality and vision. His followers swore allegiance to him and him alone. Subsequent followers where indoctrinated into the Nazi logic by means of classes, propaganda and strong Nazi action against their opposition. This led to a form of mindless following whereby he was lauded above all others. Wherever he went he was adulated by the public due to his instillation of German pride. His rhetorical speeches boosted the public and his profile to the point of ultimate subservience. His public profile left him untouchable from within his own party and any attempt to replace Hitler would not have been accepted by the German public. His military skill where minimal, but with advisers, some actions where notable, however, once he become self-dictating, the war was lost and no-one dared oppose him, due to the fear of execution.
